ProjectWise Dark Mode UI

It would be nice if there was a way to change the UI to dark mode.

When will this be coming to PW Explorer accessing on-prem datasources?

This is now available in "new" ProjectWise Explorer available for PW Cloud datasources (PW Explorer built in iTwin Studio)

Just recently started using microstation and projectwise, was searching for instructions to enable dark mode and found this.

I enabled dark mode in microstation so the headaches are getting better, but projectwise still hurts me every time i need to open it

Yep. Dark mode would be a good way to lower carbon emissions and save my battery's charged life.

It looks like PW hasn't touched the user interface in 20 years.

I can see it could be a big job as they may have to change every object in the interface.

(Or upgrade to WPF forms. Software like AutoCAD and Bluebeam look like they have moved to WPF which offers a much sleeker and modern looking interface.)

Dark mode would be a very welcome change. Especially when all other applications are on dark mode, the ProjectWise window blinds you even more when it pops up.

We use OpenRoads on a daily basis and I use it in dark mode as it makes it easier and more pleasant to use. Having to open ProjectWise and it still being on regular interface "cheapens" the experience. Please bring dark UI to PrjoectWise!

I know a lot of people that don't use ProjectWise because it does not have dark mode. You will sell a lot more PW licenses if you add dark mode. Please add for everyone's benefit.

Please add dark mode to project wise, it can help with eye strain. I work sometimes 12 hr shifts and that's just waaaaay to much white light especially when working late at night.

How is this not a feature in the latest release?

Re-code the application to allow for the same options available in almost all Microsoft Windows software.

Or is all feature development going to the web apps?

My cataracts have advanced to the point that ANY white on the screen renders most text to be un-readable. The dark mode options in OpenRoads is a game changer for me until I can get the surgery, but getting file work done in PW is almost impossible. Please, PLEASE let's get this included in the next iteration!!

Something I found is to select all files which causes the screen to be blue and the text white. Of course, you flash back to white as soon as you select one file. Did you notice even this web page has excessive white or bright areas.

I have Irlin's (Scotopic Sensitivity) Syndrome so dark mode is a necessity for me.

I bought yellow tinted glasses just because the ProjectWise screen is a giant wall of white light. Every modern application has a dark mode.
