Would it be possible to be able to map a PW environment Attribute to display in a document properties field.
We have had to move away from the use of the document Code creation wizard due to being a heavy user of the product OpenUtilities Substation, this product does not support the document Code wizard.
Therefore, we are aligning all our Bentley products (Microstation, ORD, ProStructures) to use the same PW environment that Substation uses - This will allow ease of transferring drawings between PW folders if needed and keep a consistent workflow for users to have no matter which program they are using.
What this means is now we have created a PW Environment attribute that creates our document ID (based off other environment attributes).
Now, in the document creation process we find that we have to back track through the wizard to manually copy our created document code and paste it in the Document Properties Name field on the page before.
This could also be extended to auto populating the Document Description From the environment attributes also (for example, Title 1 and Tite 2 from the attributes tab could automatically populate in the General Tabs Document Description field)
I do high believe this would be a beneficial option to be able to do if needed.
