It would be great if the Lock flat set documents to versions and Lock reference documents to versions were available within a Work Area definition, properties and/or resources setting. Not only at the datasource level.
Since this settings is only available at the datasource level, deciding the setting become complicated in a mixed datasource environment; where multiple project owners uses different workflows and procedures.
As it is now, some project owners will benefit from the settings when on/off; however the other project owners have to modify their workflow/procedures due to the setting.
