The installation documentation calls out how the PWDI installer adds local firewall rules for the ProjectWise ports 5799 and 5800, but does not mention anything about file and printer sharing ports (various smb, netbios, etc ports), which are a requirement for the indexing processes, especially in a head/tail configuration. In a hardened environment, all requirements such as this need to be documented and it cannot be assumed that these ports are allowed by default.
