Having to change permissions to a folder and back again to force child folders to inherit is clunky and time consuming. Having a way to set a folder's permissions to inherit from a parent would be a nice feature.

Is it a subfolder you need to set to inherit permissions again? I can normally revert a subfolder to inherit permissions by removing its access control. Sometimes that doesn't work, but we have known issues with orphaned access control records.
