When in preview pane (Document List), a Document is highlighted - option of Folder on the main menu should not be available;
And vice versa - when Folder is highlighted on the Datasource tree (left panel), option of Document from main menu should be disabled.
These options are not needed in specific circumstances and they may drive further confusions on what submenu options concern to and what they do.
