Many file types, such as zips, images and PDF's, are opened for reference only and typically do not require read-write permissions. However, we only have the ability to set the default double-click behavior for ALL PW Applications. Allowing a PW Application, such as PDF Viewer and Images, to open by default (via double-click) as read-only will prevent users from inadvertently checking out a bunch of files they are only using for reference purposes.
